Berlin office
Our second office
The BMZ has a second office in Berlin, which mainly houses those divisions that report directly to the minister and his senior officials. The Berlin office is housed on the top floors of the Europahaus building, very close to the Martin Gropius Building and the Preussischer Landtag (the former Prussian Parliament Building).
The Europahaus building, which dates from 1931, was one of the first high-rise office blocks in Berlin, and was built around a steel frame. With its eleven storeys and gigantic illuminated adverts, the Europahaus was a landmark of 1930s Berlin. Today, it is a listed building.
