Girls' education initiative SHE – Support Her Education

On 19 May, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development launched the girls' education initiative "SHE - Support Her Education".

The initiative supports disadvantaged girls and young women in emerging and developing countries to attend school and graduate. At the lauch of the initiative, Parliamentary State Secretary Maria Flachsbarth spoke with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai and Global Education Partnership (GPE) Chair Julia Gillard, on the important topic of girls' education.
