The individual players (selection)
Misereor
Misereor is the overseas development agency of the Catholic church. It was founded in 1958 to fight hunger and disease in the world. Misereor aims to help alleviate disease, poverty and other forms of human suffering. Help towards self-help is intended to bring about a lasting improvement in living conditions.
In 2008 Misereor supported more than 1,300 projects with a total of some 147.4 million euros. Since it was founded in 1958 more than 95,000 projects have received a total of 5.6 million euros in funding.
