The individual players (selection)
Hanns Seidel Foundation
Founded in 1967, the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS) sees its task in the analysis of political contexts, the promotion of democracy, peace and development cooperation, the elaboration of academic groundwork on which to base political action, and the bringing together of multipliers and experts.
The aim of the development work of the Foundation, which is based on Christian and social ideals, is to foster living conditions around the world that enable people to live in dignity, thus making a contribution to eradicating poverty. The Foundation is active in more than 50 countries, where it works to achieve good governance, democracy, peace, the rule of law and sustainable development.
