The individual players (selection)
Heinrich Böll Foundation
The Heinrich Böll Foundation promotes the rule of law and gender democracy, equal opportunities for cultural and ethnic minorities as an integral part of democratic culture, and the participation of immigrants in social and political life. It works for non-violence and promotes active peace policy. It aims to encourage people to stand up for what is right and become involved in society, as well as passing on to political actors the knowledge they need to organise themselves and undertake effective activities. The fundamental values of the Foundation are ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, as well as self-determination and justice. The Foundation operates in more than 60 countries.
