Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES)
The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) was founded in 1925 as the political legacy of the first democratically elected German President, Friedrich Ebert. It aims to promote political and civic education for people from all walks of life in a spirit of democracy and pluralism, and to contribute to international understanding and cooperation.
The foundation works in more than 100 countries.
