Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM)
The Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM) is based in Frankfurt am Main and was founded as a joint venture of the International Placement Service (ZAV) of the Federal Employment Agency and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
The Integrated Experts Programme run by CIM places highly qualified experts from Germany and other EU countries with companies and organisations in developing and transition countries.
CIM also runs the Returning Experts Programme, which provides advice and a placement service to individuals from developing countries, emerging economies and transition states who have completed training courses in Germany, or are working in Germany, but are interested in reintegrating into a career at home.
